PEST analysis
Political: -Solve problems with logic ideas that don’t belong to a precise political ideology -International legislation improvements -Fight home market lobbying/pressure groups creating Innovation from the Crowd -Help people prisoners of wars and conflicts if they have internet access | Economic: -home and overseas economy situation and trends analysis in one place, exactly quantified and clearly expressed -Can create market and trade cycles by specific industry factors -Has many customer/end-user drivers (to be consumer or producers of ideas and educational content) |

Incubators “buy” the team that decide to create a startup and give to the platform a part of the money they invest in the newly formed venture -Technology is extremely Accessible -There’re no licencing and patents involved -Intellectual property issues are for who posts patentable ideas. The first who posts and demonstrate that there’s no references on the internet is allowed to be protected and recognized the inventor and owner of the patent -Global communications are supported |
SWOT analysis
Strengths: -Near to global empowerment from scratch: anyone could learn a job and have solid and low risk opportunities to create stable StartUps -Most pressing problems are solved in the most sustainble, creative and optimized way -Enterprises can improve their value chain with Benefit Corporation characteristics with a true and massive Open Innovation -Potentially easy method to fight poverty and educational gaps | Weaknesses: -Don’t have great incomes if not many problems are addressed with the launch of StartUps -The greatest beneficiaries (poor people) are the ones who have difficulty on having or using the internet, local help has an high cost -Many volunteers are needed |
Opportunities: -Increasing use of social media and massive open online courses -People can solve or find tricks on most pressing problems and find new jobs directly from Smartphones on GWtS -Anyone could learn trending skills or having tuition for free if many users contribute to answer easy or parts of GuruWorld-students questions | Threats: -Expense of running media ads and large databases and Big Data analysis -Low measurable impact for who don’t grow step by step in the platform but steal ideas and replicate/adapt them in their activity without notifying |
To make this possible, the costs of ICT architecture like the main social media have to be covered.
It’s also like a Self-help + Asset Model: Social service is available for the target group with the hope of their own means, productive input, satisfy their own need + target employed to produce commercial products for customers because they have special capabilities.
Like poor receive education and Social Enterprise would acquire long-term offers (give jobs, ..) making unemployed to work or teach to somebody else.
Users have only to receive value (best methods, product indication or job education and opportunity) and provide feedbacks, votes or answers. So the only source of money can come from Enterprises (or StartUp incubators) that take advantage of the platform.
Joining in squads that decide to concretize certain proposed ideas from a thread, startuppers can be ready for valuable incubation in dedicated structures. A part of the services they give can translate in a monetary offer to the platform.
Those can contribute in multiple ways:
- paying to post a challenge, so they can do open innovation at a global scale and assume/reward who contribute the most
- paying to be promoted (if BCorps or certified like that after the open innovation path) around their locality and scale always bigger or in their specific category
- if they’re born from the platform, they can voluntary donate a monthly or annual fee
So, earnings will come from the businesses that are around the ecosystem:
- startups that born from the meeting of their squad members on the threads;
- incubators in every locality of the world for start-ups that establish in their geographic area;
- any business that want to integrate new sustainable practices using a real global open innovation
