Whether you are a change-maker with ideas, or a curious person looking for tips and exploring the social change world, this is the right place for you! This is for anyone, but more focused for youth between 14 and 26 years old. This is open globally!

Together, the aim is to continue to create infallible social enterprises to front societal issues!
Starting to frame problems and tackling each aspect with different ideas!

Participate to Social Innovation Festival

The festival was the launch and preparation to social innovation projects that addresses the COVID-19 issues. More than ever we need YOU to make the change!

We still provide free support of mentors, digital events and the ideation & team match platform. This is the time to create from scratch or structure a social project and apply to mini-grants to realize it!

This is a community, that is why you will access exclusive networking events and rooms to bring to the next level your connections. Do you feel ready?

From June 14 you can start to access to PeaceFirst‘s 250$ mini-grants if your project is eligible, so after their jury will assign you one of their Lead Mentor to help you for further growth as a social enterprise or NGO (or any other structured organization) to create long lasting and concrete impact!

Day 1 – Inspiring events

A global crisis needs a global response. We will understand why we do exist, why young people need support, and describe the next days programs.

As educational sector is a highly affected sector during all this pandemic globally we should understand new ways and horizons in this field.

An important topic regarding social responsibility in yourself! Only for 10-15 people.

17:00 CEST – Workshop – Cassidy Murray – “4 easy ways to continue being a changemaker from your home and how to overcome feelings of hopelessness and fear”

Perhaps you’ve felt like your voice can’t make a change during this crisis or perhaps you feel discouraged because you can’t be out in the world helping people everyday. If you feel this way and know that you want to continue enacting that impact from your home, then this workshop is for you! We’ll go over how to have hope and courage during these times and simple ways you can use our voice and change the world in your own way during this crisis.

Day 7 – Start mini-grants applications

14:00 CEST – Opening of applications to minigrants

Our MAIN PARTNER PeaceFirts will accept the applications to evaluate the eligibility to their funds: 250$ for each project that will meet its criteria of social project!
We will also give access to the global opportunities dashboard! You can refer to funding page.

Speakers

Cassidy Murray

Cassidy is a refugee advocate, international speaker, and activist who has traveled to 100+ countries around the globe volunteering and empowering youth to make a change for a brighter future. She is the director of HumanityUp and is passionate about making a difference in the world through her work with Syrian and Afghan refugees in Greece. She focuses on SDGs 4 (quality education) and 16 (peace & justice) and since 2015 she has been volunteering with refugees and started her own school in a refugee centre to empower kids, teens, and young mothers.

Kamila Ciok

Unstoppable changemaker, represents here Alimuradova Organisation, which aims to offer mentoring and facilitate collaboration between young social leaders and policy-makers. She is working on social leadership in Pakistan, doing interviews in Republic of Dagestan; creating humanitarian help for village Poland on Kiritimati Island; being part of HER Docs and just being. Her passion and work was recognised by Forbes 25under25.

Maiya Suyunchaliyeva

Coordinator of volunteers for Ban Ki-moon Institute of Sustainable Development at Al-Farabi KazNU, social entrepreneur, PhD student, Member of the council at the Almaty city branch of the Youth wing “Jas Otan”. She is One Young World global ambassador.

Bryan Ndoye

After getting a degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at the university of Milan, he started working in different kind of events and in different roles, while he figures out which one allows him to best express himself. He has volunteered with small organizations like the Movement of the Senegalese Diaspora Students (MODED) and the cultural festival BergamoScienza.
Plus, he believes that communities developing around an event are fundamental for a person’s well-being and have a social impact, which is one of the aspects he loves most about this field. He also loves hearing what projects have on the side, regardless of being paid, but which makes them cope with life and not find themselves at the mercy of events.

Crystal Lim-Lange & Gregor Lim-Lange

Crystal is an expert on future-readiness, an education pioneer and a public speaker on the global stage. She is the CEO of Forest Wolf, a future-readiness consultancy and Strategic Advisor to Minerva Project, the “University of the Future”.  She is a contributing expert on human capital for Channel NewsAsia and her book Deep Human, co-authored with Dr. Greg Lim-Lange, is a national bestseller.

Dr Gregor Lim-Lange is an expert in the fields of clinical and positive psychology, social emotional intelligence and mindfulness, and the Co-Founder and Chief Psychologist of Forest Wolf, a future-readiness consultancy. Greg also runs a clinical psychology practice for individuals and supports leading corporates with mental wellness and counselling for employees.

Megan Werner

Megan is 18 years old but she has achieved so many things at her young age.
At the age of 13 she wrote her very own book called “It’s up to me – 7 ways to make a difference”
Shortly after, the book was translated into Russian, became a bestseller and she started doing inspirational speaking right around the world places like Russia, Kazakhstan, America and Canada.  
In 2019 Megan founded a project called U-dream global where 20 teenagers build an aircraft and selected teenagers then flew it from Cape Town to Cairo.
Megan is currently busy with both her commercial fixed wing as well as drone pilots license.
Her motto in life is “if you don’t like your results, change your actions”

Askar is an executive coach, troubleshooter, soft skills –
trainer, NLP Practitioner, and an expert in Communication and HR. His book “Hobby and Money” is a bestseller and has sold 2500 copies in Russian and Kazakh languages. He conducted over 630 corporate trainings for medium and large companies in the CIS. And also he conducted 3 international trainings in Egypt, Hong Kong and Turkey. He founded 7 personal business platforms.

Dr. Hind abou nasr kassir

CEO and Founder of SEEDS aim to develop human capital through professional consultation services seeking innovative development with the spirit of well being for youth our core focus. She has an experience of 20 years in the education sector Advised by the Arab League and supported the social community ”w : لنتحدى كورونا 2020“ all over the Arab Region and was broadcasted all over the Arab region. She works with the UNGSII and as a Key speaker for youth empowerment in Espoo. She own the 100 Million Arabic student initiative to support students in vocational tracks. Her focus is to build an operational plan to support youth after the COVID19 and seeking for all students. Her line of research and publication focus on science inquiry and global impact on education policies and reforms in the Arab region.
