I’m involved on NewHopeU as a delegate from Asia. I found the festival or organization by my friends who have joined the festival. I joined NewHopeU, because of the opportunity to network with other like-minded people. My takeaway from the organization is the learning that I have gained and experience that I can apply for the social actions that I will be making. The Newhopeu Festival has been a major turning point for me. I am working in the government Sector ranging from the Ministry of Finance and Education of Perù. My passion is to create an impact through policies. Covid-19 was a difficult time for our economic development, and I looked after a global community to network, and learn from perspectives. Newhopeu is one of the most engaging Multicultural Community and I learnt that wherever you come from, you still have a common cause: to make a better world. Talking with other people about their passions is something that lights you up and keeps you going. You cannot change the world completely, impact one person at a time. I have talked with a participant from Turkey, reflecting on how her Music company can make an impact.
